Lewis Collier - President and Chief Executive Officer, has been the general manager of the DisplayCheck business since 1999. He led the development of the current line of microdisplay inspection systems and has direct responsibility for the sales and marketing efforts of the Company. Before DisplayCheck, he served as the system integration coordinator within the Engineering Technology Center of Anteon Corporation, where he provided direction for a staff of over 20 engineers generating annual revenue of over $3MM. Mr. Collier has been leading development projects for a variety of test and processing systems for over 20 years and has over 10 years of experience in the direct technical and financial management of several long-term projects, each totaling over $5MM in revenues. Mr. Collier received a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and a Bachelor of Science in Physics with a focus in solid-state materials from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He received the Master of Science in Electrical Engineering degree with a concentration in VLSI design and computer architecture and has taken advanced graduate courses from the University of Rhode Island. Stephen Atwood - Chief Technology Officer, has over 20 years of increasing levels of responsibility in the Display industry. He has created key technologies in the field of display optical measurement and managed the development of a number of highly successful display related products. He has successfully participated as Engineering and R&D Director in two other start-up companies, managing development budgets of over $10MM and groups as large as 40 scientists and engineers. Mr. Atwood was a principal founder of DisplayCheck, the industry leader in optical test technology for LCOS microdisplays. Mr. Atwood was a principal founder of MicroTouch’s Business Products Division, which developed the Ibid electronic whiteboard. Mr. Atwood was a key architect of several highly successful related products with revenues up to $100MM/year. Mr. Atwood also has extensive operational experience developing and leading product manufacturing strategies both domestic and internationally based. He currently is a director of the Society for Information Display New England region, Executive Editor of Information Display magazine, and is considered an industry expert on display technology. Mr. Atwood received his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Rhode Island. Ken Pietrzak - Vice President of Research and Development, has been developing machine vision systems for over 20 years and has managed numerous projects for defect detection, process control, and 3D measurement applications. He is the architect of most of The Company’s current intellectual property related to defect detection and image analysis. His current responsibilities include the direction of the research and development of new products and existing product enhancements. Mr. Pietrzak holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois and a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Rhode Island with a concentration in machine vision algorithms and signal processing. |
